A brief bio about me, I’m 23 from Edison, New Jersey; I’ve been cutting hair ever since I was a senior in High School, about 6 years ago. It all started with a few close friends that either cut their own hair or were barbers themselves, never did I think I would be in the same shoes as them. I never thought I’d have the skills or talent to cut, but I realized if they could do it, why can’t I?
During my Senior year of HS, I worked at Footlocker and I was practicing my cuts on the side with a few willing friends. Once the Spring came around, I noticed that my hours were getting cut. I took it upon myself to go out to Franco’s Barbershop where I landed my first job. I had to cut one of my boys in front of the owner.
Ever since I got my first job as a BARBER, I’ve been cutting ever since. I don’t think I will ever put it down; I love all aspects of being a barber. I love it so much; I got two tattoos that revolve around my life as a BARBER. Not only is it a job for me it’s also one of my hobbies. This has made me who I am today, learning that you can be whoever you want to be, just work hard at it and never give up. I started out doubting myself, but I happened to turn that around and have had great success ever since.
